As a result of the Information and Communication Management Strategy Development for Agricultural and Rural Development Organisations ICM strategies where developed for: Kenya: Kenya Agricultural Information Network. Strategic Plan 2009 to 2014; and for Ghana: Information and Communication Management/Technology Policies and Strategies for Ghana Agricultural Information Network System (GAINS).
Both of these strategies include an Agricultural Information Network

The assessments of agricultural information needs elaborated as part of CTA's ICM project demonstrate that needs in different countries show considerable similarities. Intensive international cooperation, and exchange/sharing of project deliverables in the development of Agricultural Information Networks is therefore recommended.
